LTCCP® course creator and lead instructor, Bill Comfort, was recently featured on the Senior Helpers LIFE Conversations podcast.  Links to both episodes are below.

Average Age of LTCI Claim is 80

Think about this.  If the average age that a person with LTC insurance goes on claim is 80-years-old*, when did that person BUY their coverage?

Right, on average, somewhere between ages 55 and 65.  So 15 to 25 years ago.  The majority of all LTC insurance policies - nearly 5-million policies - were issued in just 10 years between 1995 and 2005.  20 to 30 years ago.

There is a huge LTC "claims wave" coming.  Are you ready?
